The grill grate is one of four products from the pro-ft series and can be perfectly combined with them, so you can try out different cooking variations. You can also transport and store the grill grate in a Petromax fire pot from size ft6.

Use with fire pot lid holder pro-ft as a grill
Clamp the grill grate into the lid holder pro-ft instead of a fire pot lid and turn the combination upside down. Then attach the charcoal tray pro-ft at the desired height underneath and you are ready to grill.

Use with firepot lid holder pro-ft and charcoal tray pro-ft as a smoker
Simply mount the grill grate on the lid holder pro-ft as you would for grilling and place smoking chips and briquettes in the charcoal tray pro-ft. Then place the charcoal tray pro-ft at the desired height underneath and place a fire pot over it for smoking.

Use with fire pots as an insert for steaming or baking
Place the grill grate in an ft6 or larger for steaming and baking - without any contact between the food and the bottom of the pot.
